In the summer of 2019 I had the opportunity to be accepted at Yumping México to do my internship within the Content Department. From that date until now, I have managed to become a Content Manager, learning over the years not only what each of the activities we offer on the portal consists of, but also developing my skills as a web writer and positioning.
Since I was 17 years old I have dedicated myself to traveling and seeing the world, but now Yumping has given me the opportunity to do so through this digital world and discovering what is in those corners of the planet that I have not yet been able to reach.
Training
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing from the
Universidad Iberoamericana Puebla in Mexico . In addition to a master's degree in Marketing and Commercial Management taught by
EUDE Business School, ending with a Professional SME Administration Course at
ISIE , Madrid.
Professional experience
My first steps into the professional world as an intern was at Mercadiez, a company dedicated to market research and marketing. Following another experience as an intern in Argentina collaborating for BACUP, a company that organizes world soccer tournaments. My great job opportunity was given to me by Beker/Socialand, currently called BESO, in which I participated as Senior Community Manager.
Adventure tourism experience
As I mentioned before, since I was 17 I have dedicated myself to traveling alone and therefore looking for activities that make me get to know and enjoy different destinations. Although I am not that person who always thirsts for adventure and adrenaline, I am passionate about a good hiking route, a romantic horseback ride or being accompanied by professionals who have a thousand stories to tell me about the places I am visiting not only in Mexico but anywhere in the world. I couldn't miss a buggy or ATV tour, motorsport is another discipline that has always caught my attention. And with this I can combine my hobbies with the work I have to develop at Yumping México.
Questions to Christian Beatriz Toriz Gómez about Yumping
What three adventure activities do you have to do at least once in your life?
I would love to be able to drive a race car or put the pedal to the metal in a Lamborghini. As a second option, I could say that a horseback ride on the beach just at sunset is a unique moment. Finally, rafting, speed and water is a good combination.
What activity or sport would you like to be an instructor for?
When it comes to camping, I love organizing groups and planning activities regardless of age, I have patience for both children and adults. It's a good quality.
What activities do you recommend doing in your city of birth?
I am from one of the most beautiful cities in Mexico and not because I say so, but rather a good song: "How cool is Puebla, how beautiful...". I recommend visiting each of its 9 Magical Towns, my favorites Cholula, Zacatlán and Atlixco, in them you will only find culture, colors, warmth and a lot of traditional food.
