Description of Introductory Course of Rappel in 4 Sessions CDMX

If you want to learn how to rappel to later practice in an independent way, we invite you to develop this introductory course to the rappel technique in Mexico City. It's divided into 4 sessions and directed by an expert instructor who will teach you all the basic techniques and some manoeuvres done with the same rope.

The 4 sessions are:

First session: getting familiar with the equipment and its maintenance. Ropes, knots, security methods and vertical descent
Second session: descending in couples, how to block the descender device, prusik knots, and other manoeuvres
Third session: climbing, basic climbing concepts, equipment and security measures, equipment instalment to climb
Fourth session: route planning by the participants, climbing in a wall of 35 meters, descending without a wall, development of manoeuvres, and change or rope using the prusiks ropes

We lend you all the equipment for the course. You have to come with lots of energy to learn and spend a great time.
