Description of Private Buggy Tour w. Lunch & SnorkelingIf you love to drive, you have to try a Buggy and what better scenario than the paradise of the island of Cozumel. This tour lasts between 5 hours and 5 hours and a half consist of going with a private guide, in which you drive your own buggy until you reach the Punta Sur Biosphere Reserve.
This area of the island is protected since it is a very rich ecosystem where many different species, plants and animals live. In addition, here, we will find some Mayan ruins considered as sites of archaeological value known as "Caracol". The guide will explain everything in brief stops as it is about knowing and enjoying the experience at the same time.
Another of the stops of our tour at Punta Sur is in the emblematic Faro to which we can enter and take photos from its platform. You will see at this level the entire Laguna de Colombia and distinguish within it the different blues that are drawn. We continue our tour and we will enter the Museo de la Navegación, a small space where we explain a bit about how the boats were in the colonial era.
Do not worry if what you want is adrenaline, as the skills test comes when you have to drive in the middle of the jungle and reach the beach, up to the powdery white sand. Here, we will have time to take the snorkeling equipment and swim in the water of the Caribbean Sea. In this same place, we will eat typical food and recharge the batteries.
Our last guided tour is in a Tequila Factory, here you will know the process of making the most famous Mexican drink in the world and try different types of tequilas, learning to differentiate the characteristics that make them unique.
