Description of 5h rock climbing in Mexico City

This is a trip for beginners in rock climbing. It takes place in Mexico City, in the neighboring areas of Ciudad Universitaria. During the session, we will explain you the required technique to properly progress in climbing, as well as the characteristics and how to use and care the safety equipment. We will begin with a general warm up and the basic moves for climbing in a low height following a transversal route.

Afterwards, we will start climbing vertically using the individual safety equipment, composed by harness, helmet and carabiners in the anchorings.

We will provide you the complete safety equipment. You just have to wear comfortable clothes, a cap and either a windrbreaker, a raincoat or warm clothes depending on the weather. We also recommend you to bring lunch and suncream.

Please note that this activity is not suitable for pregnant women, people with heart conditions, people with high blood pressure and people in poor physical shape. The minimum age required is 9 years old. People under 18 years old must bring a signed parental consent. They must also come with an adult.
