Pulque, also known as aguamiel, is a traditional Mexican drink and its consumption is still common in many regions of the country due to the nutrients it contains, and it is becoming more and more fashionable, even now we can find pulque of different flavors.
Our tour will take you to discover the world of pulque, first knowing the maguey plantations and then observing its elaboration process with the mead scraping, an activity carried out by a tlachiquero. After seeing this interesting process, you will be able to taste the natural drink and its cured products, as well as its derived products. At the same time you can try some delicious tlacoyos, a typical snack of the region.
