Visit the Sanctuary of the fireflies and themaguey fieldsin Nanacamilpa. Reserve your place and enjoy the summer doing outdoor activities and appreciating natural phenomena like this one. We will meet at noon at the agreed point in Nanacamilpa from where we will start the walk going to the maguey fields. A tlachiquero will be waiting for us there, who is in charge of the extraction of mead and will be in charge of giving us the explanation of this process. We will continue visiting the tinacal, a place where the pulque is preserved and where we will carry out the tasting. Finishing the taste of the drink of the gods, we will go to try the exquisite Tlaxcalan food made by local cooks.
Arriving at sunset, we will go to the sanctuary to appreciate the fireflies. This insect gives off a greenish white light and yellow, which will illuminate our path, get ready to enter the forest trails. The show is unique in that it seems as if the horizon is plagued by a series of lights.
We will end the tour enjoying a snack in the forest based on coffee in a jar, a quesadilla or a delicious enchilada.
