Description of Nevado de Toluca
Going into Nevado de Toluca mountains is for the brave ones. This route consists of a visit to Venados park, Laguna del Sol, Laguna de la Luna, La cruz, and the exclusive peak of Fraile.The itinerary will be the following:
6 am: departure from Mexico City
8 am: arrival to Parque de los Venados
9 am: arrival to the last hut, we'll sign up there and start the ascent
10.30 am: arrival to Laguna del Sol
11 am: we'll start to ascend towards la Cruz
12.30 pm: arrival to Cruz
1 pm: we'll start the descent
2 pm: arrival to Laguna de la Luna
3.30 pm: we'll head back to the vehicles
4.30 pm: we'll head to Parque de los Venados
5.30 pm-8 pm: we'll head back to Mexico City
During the ascent, our qualified guides, who are experts on mountaineering and first aids will come with us.
