4-hour walk in the Nevado de Toluca Lagoons

Escape with your family on this walk through one of the most beautiful volcanoes in the country, the Nevado de Toluca . The duration of this adventure will be 4 hours and you will be able to see the most spectacular corners of the volcano reaching 4,680 meters above sea level. We will go around the lagoons and we will take advantage of the view to take some good photographs.

This expedition has both round trip and return transportation from Mexico City . Because it will be a quiet walk, you can go with your family from 14 years of age to 65 years . We also recommend this route for all those who want to start mountaineering.

Both Laguna El Sol and Laguna La Luna are formed by the melting of the crater. You will be able to admire the beauty of these waters and their crystallinity, while you relax with the panorama, you will feel a special energy. Do not forget to locate the 2 highest peaks of the volcano, that of Pico del Águila and that of Fraile.
