Hike to El Salto Waterfall from CDMX 1 day

We go on tour! This time it is a day of hiking through the El Salto Falls . We will practice hiking for 7 kilometers , which will take us approximately 5 hours. This excursion will be done from Mexico City , so you will have round-trip transportation included.

Our first stop will be at Amecameca, where we can have breakfast and stretch our legs. We will continue our journey until we reach the point where we will start the walk. If the weather allows it, we will enjoy the most spectacular view of the Iztaccíhuatl volcano . We will have to pay close attention to the instructors as they will teach us how to "leave no trace".

When you least think about it, we will be in the forest with a pine-based environment and a wonderful aroma. We will pass through a cave and this will give you even more, a touch of magic a day. We will find a stream that we will have to cross several times until we find the El Salto Waterfall.

Depending on how we find the water level, we can put on raincoats and enter it. Here we will have a good time and enjoy the lunch . As time goes by, we will pick up pace for our return, hoping they have fallen in love with this place, as we are and enjoying nature like never before.
