Hike to the top of Pico del Águila 1 day

Closer to the City than you imagine, you have a challenge that must be overcome. We will take you to Cerro del Ajusco to reach the top of one of the highest peaks in Mexico City: El Pico del Águila. This excursion lastsall day and starts at the Ajusco alpine lodge. The most beautiful thing about this point are the enormous pine trees that rise before us and the great variety of wildlife.

We will know we are halfway there when we reach the plain. From here you can see the summit. We will be surrounded by a large coniferous forest, the huge pine trees will captivate your gaze and make you breathe in a pleasant aroma of nature. During our tour we can find jumping rabbits, squirrels, raccoons and even foxes.

Once we arrive at Pico del Águila, a delicious snack will be waiting for us to share with the group, against the backdrop of a spectacular landscape. We suggest you bring a windbreaker, comfortable boots or tennis shoes, a small towel, a change of clothes, sunglasses, sunscreen and preferably, insect repellent.
