Hike to Pico de Orizaba from Puebla

Would you like to get to know the highest volcano in Mexico up close without having to do mountaineering or climbing? We take you on a hiking route through the foothills of the spectacular Pico de Orizaba.

You can join this adventure from 14 years old, it is not necessary to bring mountain equipment, so the only thing we ask you is to be in good physical condition. We will walk between grasslands and forests allowing you to have an impressive view of the Peak.

Enjoy incredible landscapes and contemplate the flora and fauna of the region where some species are endemic. As for the flora, you can see different types of pines, oaks and some shrubs such as the strawberry tree. As for the fauna, you can find gray fox, opossum, skunk, shrews, rabbits, squirrels, weasels, hares and the famous volcano mouse, characteristic of this region.
