Description of Hiking tour through the Sierra Zongolica
In the Zongolica Range you can find diverse communities in which you can appreciate customs of past times.This excursion is done starting in Orizaba. The first places we are going to pass are: Río Blanco, Mendoza, Tecamalucan and Soledad Atzompa.
The firts objective is to to get to the Teotlaco community to visit the tourist center of the Okotentli where there are traditional doctors, wool craftsmen and wood craftsmen. Here we will get to know the customs and traditions of this community.
After here we will go to the Xoxocotla Municipality where we will visit the church and traditional market. Later we will find the Astacinga and Tehuipango Municipalities where the pyramids rest. The next stops are Mixtla de Altamirano, Zongolica and we finish in Tequila which leads to eat in Kohyomixtla Ecotourist Ceter.
