You are about to live a adventure in the waters of the Gulf of Mexico. We invite you to this kayak tour where we will take a tour from the bay to the Island of Sacrifices. A 3-hour tour where you can paddle, snorkel and take a break on this wonderful island.
We will pick you up at your hotel to be at the starting point at 7:30 am, this with the aim of starting to row contemplating the sunrise in front of us, a unique experience when seeing the sun rise from the sea while you paddle your kayak. We will row to the island, being able to find a friend along the way, sometimes a turtle or dolphin will come to accompany us on our journey.
We will arrive at the Isla de los Sacrificios with its 450m long and 198m wide located in the Gulf of Mexico. We will go to the shallows in front of the island to be able to do a little snorkeling and you can observe the beauty of the Veracruz Reef System National Marine Park of which the island is part. A great experience to discover the flora and fauna that live here.
We will anchor and take a rest enjoying the rays of the sun and the sea breeze, if we are allowed, we will go down to the island for a moment so you can take some photos and then take our way back to the bay.
It is not necessary to have experience paddling kayaks, however you need to know how to swim, if not, it is important that you notify your guide. Before starting the activity we will give an initial class and we will provide you with a life jacket so that you are safe during the journey.
What should you bring to the tour? It is necessary to bring a bathing suit, cap, optional glasses, water shoes or flip-flops, we recommend not wearing denim clothing or shoes not suitable for water. What you should not bring are electronic objects or any item that can be damaged by water since everything gets wet.
