Kitesurf shared class in Villa Corona 1-2 h

Would you like to get started in the world of kitesurfing? This is now possible without having to go to the beach. We offer you shared kitesurfing classes for 2 or more people in the Lagua de Atotonilco, better known as Villa Corona. We are very close to Guadalajara, just 45 minutes south of the city, making it a very easy destination to access to learn this fascinating and fun water sport. Classes last 45 minutes to two hours depending on wind conditions.

And do you know what kitesurfing is about? Well, it is a sport where a kite pulls you while you control it through your control bar and at the same time you slide in the water with a board. We recommend taking at least 3 classes so that you have the minimum knowledge and practice necessary to have control, however many hours of practice and/or more classes are needed to master it. The more you practice and learn, the more you will advance in your techniques and skills until you can make jumps and spins in the air. You can join the classes from 7 years of age and the only requirement is to know how to swim.

Kitesurfing has its seasons, the best to practice it in the afternoons from February to June since the wind conditions are the most favorable for this sport. So it is better to take the first class at the beginning of the season in case you want to continue with the classes, you can do so during the rest of this season. It is also possible to hold classes during July to September but the conditions will not be the best, and if you wanted to do it from October to January, the days are numbered and it would have to be in the morning.

During the first class it is important that you know that we see more theory than practice, this is because it is necessary for you to know the safety measures, the operation of the kite, knowledge about wind conditions, among other things; and the practice will be with a trainer kite on land. It is from the second class onwards that you enter the water and begin to practice the first exercises.

The meeting and departure point will be the Mega Soriana in Nueva Galicia, transportation is on your own and if you need us to take you from Soriana to Valle Corona, it has an extra cost.

What do you need to bring for your class? Water shoes, biodegradable sunscreen, cap, lycra shirt, shorts, swimsuit, water bottle and a change of clothes for the return. Eat well an hour before class.
