Summer camp for young people in Querétaro

If your child is between 13 and 17 years old and you want him to take advantage of the summer having fun with boys and girls his age, sign him up for our Summer Self-Leadership and Survival Camp for teenagers.

What are the benefits?

The activities are focused on promoting collaborative and inclusive work. When young people attend this camp:

• Learn to improve their communication techniques and develop their leadership skills
• Reach a higher level of discipline, focus and maturity by committing to teamwork
• Strengthen their values to build a stronger personal integrity
• Improve their capacity for coordination and collaboration by working in groups for a common purpose
• They will be aware of how important decision making is in their everyday environment

How is the dynamics?

During the 5 days of camp the young people will face various individual and collective events. Upon overcoming each of the challenges they will obtain tools, materials, utensils and supplies that will help them face the following challenges in better circumstances. Some of these activities are:

• Armed Shelter - Learn about soil conditions, preventive measures and guidance
• Cabuwelry - Techniques for the elaboration of various types of knots and their practical application
• Handling tools for the construction of simple furniture such as table, clothesline, etc.
• Food Stove - Armed fire, preventive measures, fire management and food preparation
• Self-evaluation of projects (Final result and presentation)

Additionally, they will carry out other activities that, with an alternate approach, will contribute to strengthen interpersonal relationships between participants and strengthen the essential values of the human being, an example of these are:

• Hiking - Recognition of the flora and fauna of the place and awareness about the importance of all individuals in the environment.
• Sensitization - Reflect, value and understand the importance of your person and responsible actions in the family, school and social environment.
• Bonfire of coexistence.
