Diving with Eagle Rays in Puerto Morelos 6 hours

The old military ship C-56 of the Mexican Navy was intentionally sunk in 2000 in Puerto Morelos to create an artificial reef and become a diving spot at 27 m depth. It is possible to explore its 45 m long as well as dive inside it, as in its engine room, a different experience. The boat provides protection against the current and that allows to attract leopard eagle rays to this area every year.

Being able to see the eagle rays in their natural habitat allows tourists who dive in this area to contemplate an incredible and natural underwater show. Researchers also come to Puerto Morelos to document the migratory process of these beautiful marine animals, since they can only be seen between the months of October to March.

The scuba dives will be done with nitrox.
