Night dive experience in Cozumel 3 hours

Cozumel is known for being a spectacular diving destination, since it contains part of the Mesoamerican Reef, which is only the second largest coral reef in the world. That is why when you dive into the sea of this Caribbean island you find a world full of life, color and more than 500 species of fish.

The surprising thing about night diving is that you will have the opportunity to see a different world than the one you see by day, the behavior of marine species is different and there are some animals that sleep during the day and live at night because it is when they capture their prey. Also, the colors intensify and become brighter. Don't forget to bring your flashlight to admire them.

In Cozumel you can also see the effect of fluorescence which is the ability to absorb light at a certain wavelength and then re-emit it over a longer length, thanks to this effect, the corals they can change the colors they emit, a beautiful visual show. The places where we can do night diving are El Paraíso or Chankanaab, depending on the experience of the group.
