Description of PADI Advanced Open Water Certification

The PADI Advanced Open Water course is the best way to increase your diving knowledge and feel more comfortable in the water. To start, you must be PADI Open Water or have equivalent diving certification from another recognized diving organization such as SSI, NAUI, BSAC, SDI and others.

PADI Advanced Open Water hones your diving skills and allows you to explore everything this sport has to offer. The program offers you the structure where you gain more experience and skills under the guidance of a PADI professional.

The PADI Advanced Open Water course is made up of two basic diving dives, Deep and Underwater Navigation, plus three elective dives between AWARE Identification of fish, fast diving, boat, Multilevel, Night, Sunken ship, buoyancy, Search and find, Underwater naturalist, Underwater Photography and Underwater Video.

How long the activity lasts

The course lasts between 3 or 4 days

When your activity starts and finishes

Check with the diving center for the schedules of this course. Generally, it is from 8:00 a.m. to 12 noon and half-day diving is from 12:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
