Advanced Open Water Diver Course in Mérida

Reserve your place on our Advanced Open Water Diver diving course and go one level higher in your experience as an SNSI certified diver. You can enjoy this experience both in our classroom and in some Mayan cenotes in the surroundings of the City of Mérida, in Yucatán. It will consist of 16 hours of learning divided into 3 stages.

Stage number one will consist of 5 theoretical classes, each lasting 2 hours. It is important that you pay close attention to them because we will put it into practice directly in stage number two, this is done in the pool with a duration of up to 4 hours. And finally, stage 3 will consist of doing the dives, although we do not include them in this package, you can hire them after reserving your place for the course.

In order to graduate as an advanced diver, you are required to have at least 5 dives putting into practice your skills in specialties such as buoyancy, underwater orientation, night diving >, deep diving, current diving and boat diving, you will decide which ones you want to learn.

It is important that you take into account the requirements to obtain this type of certification, which are to present 1 child photograph, current OWD certification, be able to swim at least 92 meters, present a medical certificate, have basic equipment diving, have a log of at least 20 dives.
