Paddle Surf Tour in Manialtepec Lagoon 3 hours

Relax and live a unique experience in Oaxaca getting to know one of the most beautiful and surreal lagoons in Mexico. Known as the fluorescent lagoon, the Manialtepec lagoon is a bioluminous paradise, since when night falls the water transforms into a natural lamp which is activated with the slightest contact and movement.

Like something out of a movie, it is located just 15 minutes from Puerto Escondido, heading to Pinotepa Nacional; The lagoon measures around 6 kilometers and you can enter the jungle where you will observe the different species of wild birds found in the area. This place is ideal to see a sunrise or sunset, since it is located at a midpoint where you can see both events.

This tour has an approximate duration of 3 to 4 hours and you can choose between getting on a Kayak or a Paddle Surf board (both options come included) along with the life jacket. This activity is unique since there are no other lagoons on the coast of Oaxaca, it is also considered one of the 6 unique places in the world where you can appreciate this natural phenomenon.

If you have never practiced Paddle Surf before, our instructor will teach you how to maintain balance on the board and the correct way to paddle, so don't worry about that since you will be accompanied by the best.
