We take you to live an Stand Up Paddle experience in the La Carbonera lagoon in Yucatan, an ideal place for this sport as you will be able to admire beautiful landscapes as you navigate its crystal clear waters.La Carbonera is a natural paradise surrounded by mangroves , petenes and by the Yucatan savannah which makes it home to a great diversity of flora and fauna , on your Stand Up Paddle tour you will be able to observe birds, fish, reptiles and mammals.
The adventure starts from the Port of Abrigo de Chuburná, in a boat we will arrive at La Carbonera where we will start our tour on paddle boards heading to a beautiful petén . We will sail through a crystal clear water channel where you can explore its mangroves until we reach the waterhole sweet Dzul-Ha to swim, rest and contemplate some of its inhabitants such as herons, flamingos or pelicans.
If you have not practiced SUP before, there is no problem, as our instructors will be happy to share their best techniques for using the board and paddle and being able to navigate either sitting or standing. It is a experience fun and exciting.
We will return to the boat to go to a virgin beach and enjoy its calm and crystalline waters where you can also swim or eat a delicious ceviche with an ice cold beer.
The appointment will be at our center located in Yucalpetén , please check rates if you need transportation from the meeting point to the starting point of the tour. The tour includes fruit and water to refresh you between activities. In addition, you will have the option to choose between kayaking and SUP board.
* A minimum of 4 people is required to carry out the activity.
