Entrance to Aquarium and tour of Veracruz and Mandinga

With this offer you will be able to see the most important sites in the Port of Veracruz in 1 day. Accompanied by expert guides you will learn about the history, culture and marine life of the Atlantic coast. You will visit Aquarium, the fortress of San Juan de Ulúa, the Mandinga lagoons and of course, the Historic Center of the city on the edge of a tram.

The tour will begin at 10 o'clock at the meeting point which will be Plaza Acuario, where our staff will be waiting for you. We will access the Aquarium where you can find different types of marine species on display such as 6 types of jellyfish, including the Moon Jellyfish and the Australian White Spot Jellyfish, They will captivate with their striking colors. You can also visit the penguinarium, where you will find the peculiar Humboldt Penguins.

In this Veracruz aquarium you will have the opportunity to meet 3 different types of sharks, the Tiger Shark, the Cat Shark and the Cardboard Shark, you will get up close to the largest predators in the oceans. Of course, don't miss the reef fish tank where you will find more than 20 species of fish and rays.

We will continue with the tour going to the Island of Ulúa to visit the fortress that bears the same name and dates back to the times of Hernán Cortés, built on a mountain. Open your ears wide because the guide in charge will tell you a very interesting story. Finishing this historical visit, we will board some boats to be transferred to Mandinga.

Having arrived at Mandinga Lagoon, we will tour the mangrove ecosystem, as well as Isla de las Conchas and Isla de las Garzas where you will find different types of birds. Here we will have free time to visit Mandinga's restaurants, we suggest trying a fresh ceviche or an aguachile. You will lick your fingers!

The last stage of this day, getting to know the attractions of the Jarocha city, will be getting on a tram to tour the streets of the Historic Center, getting to see its more than 20 monuments, including the Portal de Miranda, the Cathedral and the Naval Museum. You will hear relevant information about each of them through an audio guide.
