Tour to the Sierra de la Laguna BCS 1 day

We take you on a guided tour to an ecological paradise between the Sea of Cortez and the Pacific Ocean, the Sierra de la Laguna, one of the most biodiverse areas of the Baja California peninsula in Mexico and that few they know of its existence.

The Sierra de la Laguna seems an island in the middle of the desert , since it is home to very characteristic flora and fauna as well as having various levels of endemism, this makes it a very peculiar and surprisingly beautiful area. Another feature of this place is that it is located between a mountainous system.

The UNESCO has recently named it World Biosphere Reserve to protect it because much of the flora and fauna that inhabit it are in danger of extinction. If you are a plant lover, this will be a paradise for you, since it houses 586 plant species and 72 of them are endemic. We can also find various types of cacti and agaves.

It is also home to countless mammals including deer, cougars, coyotes, hares, deer, and raccoons . In the case of birds , up to 289 different species can be observed, among them the peregrine falcon, the hummingbird of Santus and the pitorreal.

We start our tour very early in the morning leaving from La Paz, we include a delicious breakfast in the mountains and after our visit you can taste a delicious meal before returning to our starting point.
