Tour to Cuatro Ciénegas Coahuila from Monterrey

Cuatro Ciénegas is one of the 38 municipalities of Coahuila, which is located in the north of Mexico and has an extensive area of swamps and lakes. We will travel from Monterrey to this paradise of springs crossing the "desert route". You will have transportation and guides for this adventure.

We invite you to take a 1-day tour to discover this beautiful hidden place in Mexico that, in 1994, was protected as a Natural Area by the Federal Government for its large number of species of plants and animals that are found. in danger of extinction. It is considered by NASA as one of the few ecosystem models that allow us to understand the evolution of the primitive earth.

This trip will begin departing from Monterrey in the early morning driving until you reach the Hacienda 1800 Hotel where you can have breakfast (food not included in this package) at Palmeira Restaurant, a place where you will experience gourmet flavors. Once our stomach is full we will head towards the Blue Pool, fed by crystal clear waters that come from underground caves. Then we will go to the Gypsum Dunes, calcium formations that create an amazingly white landscape before your eyes.

We will continue to know the Marble Mines, discover large columns and walls made of a type of rock called "Traventino". The next destination will be San Marcos River and if the weather is in our favor, we can go inside to cool off (don't forget to bring a swimsuit, towels and sandals).
