Tour of Sierra Madre with food in Durango 12h

A breath of fresh air and getting away from the hustle and bustle of the city is always a good idea, which is why we invite you to be part of this tour to the Sierra Madre de Durango. This experience will take us around 12 hours so we suggest you rest well a day before. We will include the guides, ground transportation from the meeting point and a picnic meal.

We will start at 8 in the morning driving to the tourist area called Mexiquillo. This site is a natural park located in Pueblo Nuevo and is surrounded by stone gardens, large rock formations and ancient tunnels. In fact, these landscapes have been used in different films.

We will walk through the train lanes that connected Durango with Sinaloa and that were built more than 60 years ago. In addition to approaching a huge waterfall to see its amazing waterfall. At midday we will take a tour where the guide will tell us the history of the different places in Durango that we will be passing through, the type of animals that live there and the different ecosystems.

In the afternoon we will make a stop at the main house of Mexiquillo, to enjoy a country meal while we admire the most beautiful parts of the mountains. At the end of the meal and a little rest, we will visit thestone garden, an enigmatic place that will amaze you more than you imagine.
