Tour of San Ángel, Convent and Chimalistac 6 Hours

If you are in Mexico City , you cannot leave without visiting one of the most cosmopolitan areas of the capital: San Ángel. In San Ángel there are several mansions that house thousands of legends . With this offer, we will also take you to the Carmen Convent and Chimalistic. This adventure will last approximately 6 hours .

The Museo del Carmen , was a religious monastery , which today houses more than 12 mummies and hundreds of religious pieces, surrounded by a large garden. It was built between the years 1613 and 1628, this thanks to the Discalced Carmelites .

From San Ángel we go to the famous Bazar Sábado, founded in 1960 and it is full of Mexican crafts , from the most typical to the finest. You can find ceramic, wood, glass, silver pieces and even paintings with beautiful paintings. Here we give you some time so you can make your purchases and when we finish our purchases in the bazaar, we begin our tour in Chimalistac, where we can see old chapels and bridges made of stone, all in a colonial setting.

The word Chimalistac comes from prehistory and takes as its meaning "where the sacrificial stone is cut". To date it is an area where the bridges that we will observe and the different buildings with colonial style are preserved.
