Description of Waterfalls and Zacatlán Tour with accommodation 2 days

Do you want to escape the routine and enjoy two days doing different activities? We offer you this 2-day guided tour that consists of visiting the Zacatlán waterfalls, the natural landscapes that have made this land of apples famous, and we will dedicate a second day of tour to meet a Náhuatl indigenous community in the town of San Miguel Tenango.

This is our travel itinerary , are you ready?
  • First day: We will visit the 2 main waterfalls of Zacatlán, the falls and waterfalls that have made this small town in the Sierra famous: strong>El Salto de Quetzalapan and the impressiveTulimán Waterfall with its 300 meter high fall. This day we will dedicate to being in direct contact with nature.
  • Second day: We will visit the small town of San Miguel Tenango to meet an authentic Nahuatl community. We will do it by visiting a Waist Loom where the women of this place make incredible fabrics by hand. Additionally, to have a broader concept of their traditions we are going to go to the Casa de Artesanías and an exhibition of hand-embroidered blouses. Among the most impressive places that we are going to see here are the Paredones de San Pedro Amatla and the Peña del Águila. Finally, they will invite us to a tasting of tamales made from papatla leaves, a typical dish of the area.

We want you to fully enjoy this tour that we have prepared for you, so we include one night's lodging and breakfast to start the day with all the energy necessary for the guided tours that we will take during these two days. We are waiting for you to discover the historic center of this Magical Town and its natural beauties.
