Visit children to Taller de Rebozos Sta María del Río

Take your children on a different walk where they will know the workshop where they make the silk rebozos . This place is located in the village of Santa María del Río (San Luis Potosí) with a duration of 4 hours . In addition to having fun they will know a traditional activity of the city.

We will meet at a point in the city to board the vehicle and drive on the road south. Arriving at the town we will visit the factory where the people specialized in this activity will explain everything from the threads they make, to the ancestral techniques they use.

Your children will be dazzled by the way they are made and be surprised by the colors of threads that form figures in the rebozos. This is a tradition that has become known around the world. At the end of this workshop, we will get to know the La Asunción church and when we leave we will take them to the traditional bakery in the area.
