Pulque Tour and Nanacamilpa Firefly Forest

We will make a tour to Nanacamilpa to visit maguey fields where we will learn about its origin, cultivation and the production of pulque and aguamiel. While we wait for it to get dark, we will go to the Firefly Sanctuary to observe its magical flashes.

We will begin by visiting the maguey fields where locals will be waiting for us to walk among these giant plants and give us an explanation of their scraping. While we listen to the guides, they will give us a taste of natural pulque and the drink known as aguamiel, a couple of fermented drinks.
