Visit Soltepec hacienda and Huamantla bullfighting museum

On this occasion we want to take you to discover the Pueblo Mágico de Huamantla in which you will be filled with culture, color and typical Tlaxcaltecas sweets. You will have the transfer from Tlaxcala and we will assign you the most fun and expert guide in the area so that you know everything in depth. It will be approximately 7 hours of experience where you will learn a lot of history.

We will give color to our experience starting with a sawdust carpet workshop where you will learn about this tradition that the inhabitants of Huamantla have to honor their saints by representing faith and hope with handmade art. We will continue visiting the most famous hacienda in the state due to its beauty and architecture, Hacienda Soltepec. This place will surprise you with its combined atmosphere between the past and the present, we will visit its gardens and chapels, as well as the corridors of what is now a hotel.

Next we will go to the Museo Nacional del Títere, where we will appreciate a large collection of dolls belonging to the Rossete Aranda brothers, famous in the 19th century. We will walk through its 8 rooms where we will find puppets representing places like Germany, France and Pakistan, among others.

Our next stop will be the center of Huamantla where we will appreciate the main square and the monuments to its historical figures. For this point of the tour, we will stop at a muégano workshop to savor this exquisite typical sweet that you will surely love. We will finish the guided tour visiting the Bullfighting Museum, another of the disciplines still existing in the state of Tlaxcalteca.
