Who said that we could not join a mountain biking route, with a visit to pulque haciendas ? From Mexico City , we will take you to know these spectacular sites in Hidalgo , so set aside a whole day, which will be a very fun adventure.
This route will be directed by a specialist guide in adventure sports and culture. It will take us to the best tour, where we will fill ourselves with culture and we will learn both history and the process of making this drink, which has become an icon of our country; the pulque . We will start pedaling from the Hacienda de Venta de la Cruz, that we will have previously traveled and known.
We will continue rolling and our next stop will be Arcos del Padre Tembleque. Half the way, we will arrive at a place where those known as "Tlachiqueros" , will explain and show us the elaboration of pulque, as well as its tradition. Do not lose your attention, it will say many interesting things!
Along with the sunset, we will head with the mountain bikes towards the Hacienda de San Antonio Tochatlaco. Again, we will put aside the bicycles, to enter this site and get to know its facilities. This will be the end of the adventure and we are convinced that you will want to repeat it.

Description of Cycling Haciendas Pulqueras de Hidalgo 2 days
Come exercise, ride a bicycle and also contemplate the beautiful landscapes that unfold to the rhythm of the route, not to say that you will be living a transfer to another era, as if you will live the history of area. This tour includes transportation from Mexico City to Hidalgo and back.This journey will begin at the Hacienda de Venta de Cruz, once there, the journey begins pedaling towards the Arches of Padre Tembleque, a route in which you will see some old buildings, who are silent witnesses of the passage of time. This mountain bike expedition will be magical since you will be traveling around 70 kilometers.
Towards sunset, we will begin to arrive at the Hacienda de San Antonio Tochatlaco where, thanks to a guide, we will know everything about this place. We will visit its gardens, facades and corners. At the end of the visit, we will enjoy a delicious dinner, to go to rest and sleep. As it is a 2-day adventure, we include accommodation in one of the hacienda's bedrooms.
In the morning of the next day, we will start with the second part of this adventure. We will go to the Santa María Tecajete Hacienda, to visit and get to know it. Next, we will arrive at the Casa Grande de Zempoala, which is find located in the center of the municipality. To close in the best way, we will pedal to Hacienda Venta de Cruz to enjoy an exquisite banquet, which will make us regain our strength.
