Blue Whale Watching in Loreto 5 hoursSKU: 65877
Description of Blue Whale Watching in Loreto 5 hoursWould you like to have a really exciting experience ? We take you to the Loreto Bay National Marine Park to observe the magnificent blue whales that migrate every spring to the Gulf of California in the state of Baja California Sur.
Live this magical experience when you see the largest animal in the world in its natural habitat. Whales migrate from the Gulf of Alaska to this part of Mexico during spring to feed, reproduce and see their young hatch as they come in search of warmer waters. That is why we will only be able to see them between January and March every year. Do not miss the opportunity to see them since they are only in Mexican waters a quarter of the year.
Their size is really impressive, whales up to 30 meters long and weighing 120 tons have been seen, so seeing them playing in the sea is a unique experience that will generate multiple sensations. We are fortunate because Loreto is one of the few places in the world where blue whales continually approach dry land.
During our tour you will also see humpback whales as they also migrate to these waters during the same season. The whales are usually accompanied by dolphins so we will surely see some specimens swimming near us. It is possible that we can also observe sea lions and turtles .
UNESCO has declared the Islands of the Gulf of California , where the Marine Park of Loreto is located, World Heritage , since here one third of the species of cetaceans existing in the world.
We invite you to live this great adventure with us and see these wonderful mammals up close.
