Description of EcoRaíz

EcoRaíz we are an ecotourism agency that has extensive experience in organizing walking expeditions of 1 or several days in different mountain settings from the entire Mexican Republic. We have more than 15 years working as hiking and mountaineering guides. We are experts in group activities and courses for people of all levels.

On the one hand, we offer you various types of excursions that vary according to the scenarios, the number of days and the objective of the activity, as we have short 1-day walks through the forests of Valle de Bravo, the foothills of Iztaccíhuatl, the Corral de Piedra in the State of Mexico, among others. On the other hand, if you want one of our 3 or 4-day expeditions we will take you to Tuxtlas, Cofre de Perote, the Zongolica mountain range, the Nevado de Toluca, the Huasteca Potosina, Cholula, the Sierra Norte de Oaxaca, the Sierra Gorda of Querétaro among many others.

For those who want to start mountaineering with courses for 3 levels: basic, intermediate and high. Beginners have the base of Cerro del Oso, Quetzalcóatl Pass or Piedra Tiburón as the setting for their course. On the other hand, the intermediate levels will make ascents to the peaks of Iztaccíhuatl at more than 4500 meters above sea level. Advanced levels will carry out 2-day mountaineering expeditions to Pico de Orizaba.
