Mexitreks

Mexitreks we have been offering you guided walking excursions through the surf town of Sayulita for almost 7 years. Our guide, Stephen Pomeroy , he is an expert in ecotourism and is also bilingual teaching classes in English and Spanish.

At Mexitreks we offer you the following walks:

- El Cerro del Mono: This is one of the highest peaks in Bahía de Banderas. From the top we can see the entire coast of Punta Mita. This place with jungle-type vegetation was a pirate hideout. Don't forget your camera, the landscapes are unique.

- Jaguar Trail: This is a tour through the jungle, in this way we will get to know better the type of animal and plant species that live in these tropical ecosystems. Our guide is a specialist in ecotourism and will explain to you in a simple and fun way more about all the natural phenomena that we are going to encounter along the way.

- Alta Vista: This is a cultural nature walk to see the petroglyphs of the Piletas River. These are pre-Hispanic drawings marked on volcanic rock that are believed to be remains of the traditions of an ancient Aztec tribe called “Los Tecoxquines”

Also at Mexitreks we have family walks with routes for children, they can also share with you an educational and at the same time very fun experience.
