The Colomos Forest in Guadalajara is an ecological space declared as a Hydrological Protection Area by the Congress of the State of Jalisco.
Through its environmental culture center, the park organizes various sports and educational activities for the training of adult children in the environment strong>.
In the Colomos Forest you can find half-day activities or camps especially focused on school groups. From hiking, to insect, bird or plant propagation workshops; All of them are focused and designed with the objective of instilling in children the responsibility and awareness of caring for and respecting nature.
Environmental Games, walks and workshops are taught continuously, whether on aweekend, during the summer course or as extracurricular activities.
In addition, Bosque Colomos offers a horseback riding service to tour the park.

Bosque Colomos is a lung of oxygen within the big city. Without going on the road, now you can enjoy a weekend in contact with nature in a comfortable, quiet and fun way.
Horse rides are available every day, until 6 p.m. The closest entrance to carry out this activity in the Forest is Avenida Patria.
Among the more than32 my endemic forest species that you can find in this place you have eucalyptus, pines, casurarinas, Michoacan pines, ahuehuetes, white cedar, Indian laurel, white sapote and jacaranda.

Bosque Colomos, aware of care and respect for the Environment, organizes excursions, camps and environmental education workshops aimed at all Tapatios, children and adults.
Through its Environmental Culture Center, it organizes various educational workshops with activities ranging from hiking through the forest to playing games, watching movies and learning about plants and animals.
The school courses and programs are chosen depending on the grade of each group, having workshops and activities for children from preschool, primary, secondary and high school. Many of these are organized by SEMARNAT, the Secretary of the Environment and Natural Resources.
At the Colomos Forest Camp, night walks are organized so that young people can appreciate wildlife in their natural environment as they have never seen it before.
