Camp Meztitla is an organization that belongs to the Mexican Scout Association, although our facilities and adventure activity programs are open to the general public.

The Camp is located in the Tepozteco mountain range, a place surrounded by impressive natural mountain landscapes that offers all our visitors varioushiking, canyoning, rappelling, climbing and caving routes. strong>

At Camp Meztitla we also have camping service, hostel service and hotel-type cabins. At Camp Meztitla we have several camp programs and multi-adventure activity packages designed for school groups, business groups, families and the general public.

On the other hand, if you come in a group or need a camp program for objectives at Campamento Meztitla we organize itineraries with activities, games, challenges and challenges that will help you enhance teamwork, leadership, improve coexistence and group integration.

Within our facilities, campers will be able to enjoy more than 20 hectares of green areas at the foot of Tepozteco, where we offer you a swimming pool, a strong>camping, dining room service, lodging in rooms with bunk beds, campfire area and multipurpose forums.

On the most important peaks of the Tepozteco mountains there are various viewpoints from where you can contemplate the impressive mountain and nature landscape that unfolds before your eyes. For this reason, the Campamento Meztitla team invites you to take hikes along the routes and trails in the area.

We depart from our camping facilities , choosing between the routes we have that can vary in duration of 2 hours, 3 hours and 6 hours. We are going to choose paths adapted to the characteristics of each group with different degrees of difficulty in the climb.

In this setting we can enjoy incredible panoramic views, reach the peaks of the highest mountains, walk among waterfalls or follow the course of springs. The important thing is to fully enjoy the environment where we are and its perfect climate.

In addition, at Camp Meztitla for seniors or children we have a 45 minute interpretive trail of low difficulty to be able to coexist.

Within our vertical mountain activity services, we organize our excursions and rappelling trips to 2 natural rock walls, one of 25 meters and the other of 45 meters, where You can start with learning rope descent for those at a beginner level or those who do not have previous experience.

Additionally, during the rainy season, beautiful waterfalls form within the park facilities as well as in its surroundings where you can practice rappelling down a waterfall or canyoneering. If you already have the descent technique down, try doing it in a waterfall. Push your abilities to the limit by challenging the force of nature.
