Mountain and Caves Mexico

We like adventure and exploring not only what is close to our headquarters, but also the wonders found in other places such as volcanoes or canyons in different parts of the Mexican Republic.

We are a group of young explorers Mountain and Cave Mexico who specialize in all land sports that involve heights or water.

Our headquarters are located in Yucatán and the first thing we can offer you is the exploration of different cenotes in this state.

Cenotes are places with underground rivers where you can see caves and different types of animals, we and the monitors will always provide you with material such as; life jacket and helmet.

You will get to know the underground river in Chontacoatlán, located in Taxco. We organize the activity for those who live there and those who want to move there with us.

Now begins that season in which we explore all the rivers, from February to May.

Not to forget other states, we also like to move to different parts with mountains to be able to doclimbing, rappelling and our escape technique.

In other places like Guerrero there are circuits placed by our guides called; via ferrata.

Feel like an explorer doing caving with us, we are going to take you to places where you can still see fossils and remains of animals from pre-Hispanic times.

You can go hiking in dormant volcanoes and some that are still active.

Rappel is one of the techniques that we know best since our team known as Mountain and Caves Mexico practices this as a sport and also as a form of rescue.

The team has been performing these escape techniques for approximately more than 10 years and at the same time teaches their schools what it means to descend.

This sport was brought from France by an expert in rappelling, he called it that because the activity consists of descending from great heights with great care and taking advantage of the slope of the mountain.

We will take you to different points in the state of Yucatán and at the same time we offer you the necessary logistics so that you can move with our team to other parts of the country such as Morelos oWarrior.

Inside the hidden canyon in Cuentepec, our instructors will teach you what you need to know how to descend at your own pace.

For this activity you don't need anything more than to leave fear outside, we will assign you a personalized instructor so that you can learn as much as you can with him and he will put on your helmet and vest with the harness so that you don't run any risk.

The entire Mexican Republic is considered mountainous and this is because when the continents were being formed in the past, two large tectonic plates collided, thus forming different reliefs within this country.

We, the youngest team at Mountain and Caves Mexico, propose that you get to know all the active volcanoes, those that are no longer active, and different important plateaus throughout the region of the country.

We offer hiking in groups or as a couple for those people who are already used to this sport, which is not only about moving your legs, something that we no longer use except to get around, you will also be able to get to know the inhospitable landscapes of Mexico.

You will meet and learn about the sleeping woman, that volcano that is no longer active and is called Iztaccihuatl, also about its watchman the Popocatépetl, which in Nahuatl means warrior who waits.

We are a young group that loves exploration, therefore we want to tell you that this activity is not new, since man was nomadic he was used to practicing canyoneering since he had to move through certain dangerous landscapes.

After a while we stopped moving because agriculture arose, that was the moment we stopped, however all humans have that itch of wanting to move in dangerous terrain.

We usually do this activity in different parts of Yucatan and other places in the Mexican Republic, such as Morelos, Oaxaca or Guerrero.

Our strong point is the cenotes and waterfalls of Mérida. Here we have a specialized route for all types of groups, whether family or friends.

For this activity you don't need anything, we will provide you with the life jacket, ropes and safety equipment so that you don't go through any type of risk.
