At Active Nature Canoas we invite you to enjoy an incredible and unique experience in the Laguna de los 7 Colores in Bacalar. Get on our Hawaiian canoes and paddle enjoying the Caribbean landscape.
Active Nature Canoes we have 3 unique boats in the area, the design of these is that of a rustic canoe that consists of a boat made with a double canoe joined in the center by a platform, giving rise to an elegant, fun, light, functional and fast boat. In order to move it, it is necessary to paddle like a traditional canoe, but it helps to use the sail and navigation elements it has.
Our canoe “Malolo”, “Candreja” and “Kaikaina” are handmade. Captain Gunnar, instructor and founder of Active Nature Canoas is the one who built them and now they are available for a beautiful tour of the Bacalar Lagoon.
AtActive Nature Canoas we have one-day tours to choose between 5 or 6 hours paddling through the lagoon, the Pirate Channel and the Bacalar Cenote. We also have 2-day activity packages with camping or cabins to explore Chetumal, the Chaac River, Río Hondo, Pedro Santos, as well as islands and cenotes.
