Amancay Freediving, Playa del Carmen (Quintana Roo) 2022

Amancay Freediving we are a excursion school and free diving courses , that is, freediving. We are the first official SSI certified free diving / Freediving center in Playa del Carmen, Mexico , located in the scuba diving paradise, in Riviera Maya.

If you want to practice this freediving modality, more natural and adventurous, in Amancay Freediving you have courses in which we teach you the techniques to do it well, with a methodology in which you will know what you do and how to move forward. You will notice how you progress properly.

In addition to professional freediving classes , we have excursions for those who already have previous experience and want to practice it in cenotes , coral reefs in the open sea or the Marine Park from Cozumel among many others.

For those who want to enjoy the sea and do a snorkeling excursion, we offer the possibility of accompanying us on the scuba diving excursions that we organize. One of the main favorite excursions of our clients to snorkel is the excursion to swim with whale sharks.

Unlike traditional diving with oxygen tanks, at Amancay Freediving we offer you an alternative that is becoming more and more fashionable and is more practiced by lovers of water sports: apnea.

Based in the Riviera Maya, we are an official SSI Freediving school where you will learn to dive lung . This is achieved through a responsible training program, it is not done overnight.

As in diving, there are a series of courses by levels that are:

- Discover free diving: It is the most basic course. The one all beginners have to go through. It is a test class, to decide if apnea is a way in which you want to certify and train.

- Level 1: It is already the most complete introductory course, in which you begin to acquire the skills of diving without a tank, at your fingertips.

- Level 2: It is a special improvement course and more specific to apnea.

- Level 3: Deep diving. This is a special program to prepare you to dive to 40 meters. It is a course for advanced students, in which we are going to teach you how to use specific material. The idea is that you learn to practice freediving responsibly and do it safely.

Learn to freedive in Amancay Freediving in the Riviera Maya. If you already know and have previous experience, sign up for our excursions to free dive in cenotes, in Cozumel, in the reefs and with the shark whale in Isla Holbox.

At Amancay Freediving , in addition to freediving courses, we offer snorkeling excursions so that you can enjoy the beauty that the Caribbean Sea offers us in the Riviera Maya area. We take you to swim with the snorkel to reefs, cenotes and Cozumel.

We also organize excursions of encounters with marine animals such as swimming with whale shark and sailfish. These are very specific expeditions, some of them seasonal but at the same time very exciting because you will be very close to impressive animals in their natural habitat, the ocean.

For those who do not dare to practice apnea, we explain how to use snorkel equipment . With the tube and the visor you will feel very comfortable. Once you are swimming, our guides will take you in a group to see the marine gardens, as well as in the cenotes they will show you the access routes and they will show you the vaults of these caves.
