At Cormorán we have all the material and equipment necessary to carry out all the activities. We do the tours in a 27-foot panga with capacity for 10 people, however, due to the COVID situation and as a preventive measure, at the moment we are only admitting 5 passengers per boat.

At Cormorán we want you to live an unparalleled experience, we take you to swim with whale sharks in the Bahía de la Paz, one of the best places to carry out this activity.
The adventure begins aboard our 27-foot panga, we will sail until we reach the point where the whale sharks are, along the way you will be able to enjoy beautiful landscapes and contemplate the city of La Paz from the sea.
You will observe the whale sharks up close, which often appear, and it will be time to put on your snorkeling equipment to go swimming with them. Being close to these marine giants is a unique moment. Despite their large size and weight, in fact it is the largest fish in the world, they are harmless beings to humans. You will be surprised to see how friendly they are and that we can live near them without any danger.
Whale sharks feed mainly on plankton and come to Mexican beaches in search of warmer waters to feed and reproduce.
Our guides will be with you the entire time ensuring your safety and will explain the safety measures before going swimming. Our boats accept up to 10 passengers, however for now we are using them at 50% as a preventive measure against COVID-19, so our tours will have a maximum of 5 people per boat.

This activity is indicated for people over 8 years old with adult supervision. The rest of the people will be able to do it without problem, it does not matter if you have no prior knowledge or if you have not practiced snorkeling before, since it is a calm and low-risk sport which facilitates almost immediate adaptation.

We sailed around a day through places that you would not imagine exist, from mangroves that are a refuge for many local and migratory birds that come to further enrich the landscape, as well as of other species of reptiles and mammals in the area; all this while we contemplate the beautiful crystalline waters and the rock formations that appear within the ecosystem.
We have different tour options, they can include only kayaking or snorkeling, and we even have a package where you can camp on the beach and enjoy the sunset and a night with a bonfire under the starry sky. , of course we will reach the camp beach by paddling a kayak.
