Cave diving is considered technical diving and penetration into caves is only permitted with a cave certification that our entire team possesses.

Have you imagined swimming with the largest fish in the world? Emilio Dive Zone makes your dream come true.
The whale shark season in Isla Mujeres extends from June to September. During these months, whale sharks migrate in large numbers to feed on the plankton that abounds in our warm waters in Mexico. This allows the people who dress us to admire the majesty of the well-known "largest fish in the world."
We begin the adventure early in the morning. The whale shark range is 1 to 1 ½ hours away from the island and approximately 60 square miles, so it may take time to locate them.
Only swimming and snorkeling are allowed, not diving. The permits allow us a maximum of 10 people plus the crew on board. Our experienced captain and crew have the required whale shark certifications and marine biology courses and are completely bilingual.
We offer a light breakfast, lunch, soft drinks and bottled water, all snorkeling equipment, life jackets and wetsuits. After swimming with the whale sharks we will visit a beautiful reef for diving.
