Mexico is a land dominated by the mixture of races, the majority of our population is mestizo and paying a tribute to our Mexican nation, at Mestizo Divers we are proud of this country and to be able to show you what best of its nature and culture.

Mestizo Divers we are a specialized diving center that operates on the coast of Cozumel. The best of Mayan culture and Mexican culture can be found in the Caribbean and we want you to discover even the most hidden corner that hides between its reefs and seas.

In addition to diving, we organize sport fishing excursions since we have a powerful luxury boat that is fully equipped and perfect for practicing this sport on the high seas. Our guides are local so they know perfectly well all the fishing areas depending on the season.

We guarantee that we are an authentic Mexican company, run by natives. We grew up here and therefore we can offer you a different point of view compared to other companies.

As diving specialists, we are very aware that we are in one of the most privileged places in the Caribbean to practice this activity. In the water, in Cozumel we can reach up to 26ºC with perfect visibility even at 30 m. deep.

At Mestizo Divers we have our own boat although we always organize ourselves in groups of 6 people to be able to provide personalized attention since our goal is for our divers to receive quality attention.

Part of this attention and exclusive service is that we are not in a hurry to finish each excursion and we will pick you up and pick you up at the dock of the hotel where you are staying. Also, we provide all the diving equipment on each excursion and we do not charge special rates to take you to other places such as Punta Sur, Maracaibo or Barracuda.

In addition, at Mestizo Divers we have classes because we have more than22 years of experience teaching and training new divers. We have initiation courses for beginners and certificates at all levels, even with specialties. Unlike other schools, we teach the courses inside our boat and thus carry out the practices on the reefs, while other centers do it in the pool.

Our local guides, natives of the Cozumel region, will take you to places where we guarantee that you can get a great specimen ofBarracauda, wahoo, dorado, mackerel, grouper, Tuna, Marlin and many more.

At Mestizo Divers, in addition to specialized diving services, we have excursions and sport fishing activities in the Mexican Caribbean. Based on the island of Cozumel, we travel looking for fish on the coast of the Riviera Maya, touring the entire coastline of the Yucatan Peninsula.

We have several types of excursions that range from half-day outings to the open sea for a maximum of 4 people, to a full day of fishing. We also have a special service for bottom fishing.

At Mestizo Divers, promoting conservation and protection of the Environment we always release all billfish, we only keep the fish you choose to eat among those captured.
