El Refugio de Potosí we are a natural park where you can meet live different animal species from the Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo region, of the Guerrero state.
In El Refugio de Potosí you can make your visits every day Monday, Thursday and Sunday of the year, at times from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm , where you can take a tour led by a guide who speaks English and Spanish.
We have large facilities that include: butterfly farm, iguana farm, macaw area, tower for panoramic observation, tropical green area containing endemic species and hummingbird area.
With us you can attend with the whole family, since our natural park is suitable for all ages.
In addition, we have a skeleton of a large sperm whale that lived near the park and we have its area to display its great bone formation.
Within our park you will enjoy living with many animals, such as deer, iguanas, snakes, bats, among many other species.
