Tour through the Lacandona jungle and Chiflón waterfall 2 days

Enjoy a tour through the nature that beautifies the State of Chiapas, this time we will take you from San Cristóbal de las Casas to Lake Lacantum, Waterfalls the Chiflón, Selva Lacandona and Lagos de Montebello. It will be a2-day tourand we will includecamp accommodationat the Lacandonia tourist center.

We will start this experience very early in the morning, meeting at the meeting point that we will agree on in San Cristóbal and we will go to the majestic El Chiflón waterfall. We will admire its water fall that goes beyond 70 meters and that with its sound, will call our attention even more. We will continue the trip until we reach the Montebello Lakes .

This site is one of the favorites for all nature lovers, since it has lagoons that have waters in different shades and surrounded by hanging gardens. Admire every part we go through since it is an environment where quetzals, wild ducks, deer and even anteaters usually live.

For day 2, we will get up very early to take a boat ride on the Lacantum River, we will navigate at a very calm pace to appreciate the views identifying both the Chiapas flora and fauna. If we have had a good day, the colorful macaws and the occasional toucan will be able to appear in the photographs, flying over the river.

We will make a break getting off the boat to get into it and walk a little between it. We will approach those millennial trees known as Ceibas and that their height exceeds 60 meters. We will end up returning to San Cristóbal and enjoying a delicious breakfast.
