Tour to Mexcatitán Island from Rincón Guayabitos

We go on tour! We will take you to know the "cradle of Mexicanness" that is, the Island of Mexcatitán, to do this we will pick you up at your hotel in Rincón de Guayabitos and begin a unique experience. We will also take a city tour of Santiago Ixcuintla and try the delicious typical dishes of Nayarit.

Our first place to visit will be the "Our Roots" mural located in Santiago Ixcuintla, when you observe it you will notice that it has so much history that it will have to be explained by the guide who will accompany you. We will go to the pier where a boat will be waiting for us to navigate through mangroves until we reach Mexcatitán.

We will tour the Island on foot to admire its architecture, churches and houses, as well as views of the sea. We will visit a museum where we can observe more about the Mexica culture that had extensive power in these lands. After spending time admiring works of art and learning about history, we will head to one of the best-known restaurants on the island to try delicious fish or seafood.

After the meal we will return to the boats to return to Santiago Ixcuintla and tour it with the guide. At the end of the city tour we will go to Rincón de Guayabitos.
