Tour to Río Lagartos and Ek Balam 1 day

On this occasion, we offer you a different and cultural tour to the impressive Ek Balam archaeological zone, we will also visit the Río Lagartos, a true natural paradise.

Ek Balam are Mayan ruins in the middle of the jungle that will allow you to get to know the Mayan culture in depth. In this impressive city with its very well preserved buildings, you can admire its temples, shrines, palaces , alters, plazas and even a steam bath. The ruins were discovered in very good condition so today we can contemplate their facades, murals and glyphic texts. A surprising trip to the Mayan world.

Afterwards we will go to Río Lagartos, a true Eden, here we will be able to observe more than 200 species of birds, among them beautiful pink flamingos, in fact it is the largest reserve of these flamingos in Mexico, we can also observe crocodiles, eagles and pelicans. In this beautiful fishing village we will eat a delicious seafood dish before returning to Playa del Carmen.
