Guided tour to the South of the Huasteca Potosina 9 hr

Surely you have heard of the Huasteca Potosina and its incredible landscapes, waterfalls and rivers. Without a doubt, a highly recommended place to visit. We take you on a tour where, in addition to appreciating the beauty of this region of the country, you will be able to visit unique places in the middle of a tropical forest or in the middle of the nature that surrounds the area. Let yourself be surprised, for 9 hours, by places that few know within the Huasteca.

Our meeting point is the Tantalá Hotel, from there we will go to the town of Xilitla where we can visit the Edward James Garden, a place in the middle of the forest where you can contemplate beautiful strong>surrealistic sculptures, it also has ponds and waterfalls, in short, a unique place. Here we can also visit the Peristyles of James. At the end of this walk through the Garden, we will visit the center of Xilitla where we will stop to eat.

Then we will get to know the Sótano Salitre which is located in the municipality of Aquismón, it is a strange vertical cavern considered one of the most beautiful caverns in the world, in fact, it is a >protected natural area. It is a cave 510 meters deep where you can see various species of birds flying inside.

Depending on the group, you will visit the Sótano de las Golondrinas or the Beto Ramón Botanical Garden, also known as the Castillo de la Salud, this is a space dedicated to herbal medicine traditional. Beto, a Nahuatl doctor, founded it in the year 1974 based on the studies he did on the healing purposes of plants. Here we can find information on botany, herbalism and traditional medicine.
