Guided visit to Tamtoc Archaeological Zone 7 hours

Get to know a spectacular site of the Huasteca Culture , you intend to join us on this guided tour through the Tamtoc Archaeological Zone . It will be a walk of 7 hours approximately and we will include in this option, snacks and a delicious meal at the end. Also for your comfort, we will meet at a point in Ciudad Valles to transport you to the visiting area.

This area has 210 hectares and an endless number of characteristics that lead us to think that it had a very large feminine influence. This is because most of the remains found in the area, have belonged to women. Its main square , has 18 structures surrounding it, assimilating the religious activities they practiced.

The North Set of the site has been a great discovery since there are springs that flow into the Laguna de los Patos . It was also found, a place where they apparently produced beads or accessories to make necklaces. Another site of this archaeological zone that draws attention, are circular structures found in the cemetery and that from there, 70 skeletons have been excavated.
