One of the hidden secrets of Mexico is Celestún, a Yucatecan region located on the western side of the Mayan state and it is the place that we will take you to visit from your hotel in Mérida. We will meet in the Celestún reserve, with 600 square kilometers of extension. Here inside we can appreciate several species of birds, such as the white and brown pelican and especially huge flocks of beautiful and famous pink flamingos. The mixture of fresh water makes this magical ecosystem unique. Your children will be delighted with everything that is happening around us and the hundreds of birds that will fly over our heads.
Celestún is connected to a bridge to the mainland, just the place where we will set sail for the tour. We will take a boat ride through the calm waters to enter the mangroves and thus be able to meet one or another crocodile, this part will be the favorite of your little ones. After surrounding ourselves with nature, we'll rest at Celestún Beach where you'll have time to eat on your own and continue with the Yucatecan experience.

You will discover a natural paradise between mangroves and lush vegetation.
This area has been considered a fauna refuge since 1979 for all the types of animals that can be seen, birds such as; toucans, woodpeckers, crows and hawks. Don't forget to bring plenty of battery on your phone or come with a camera, here you will have plenty of material to capture spectacular photographs.
Although we make trips all year round, we suggest taking this tour between the months of July and September, since it is the season where you can find the waters in reddish tones, come and discover the "why".
