Description of Diving in Cozumel Island from Akumal 8 hours

Have you ever imagined yourself diving on a paradisiacal island in the Caribbean Sea? Our diving tour takes you from Akumal to the beautiful island of Cozumel. On an 8-hour tour you can enjoy two dives in the waters of the island.

Jacques Cousteau named the Island of Cozumel as one of the best places to dive in the world and Mexico continues to be among the top 10 destinations for diving. We invite you to take advantage of your stay in the Riviera Maya to enjoy this expedition to paradise. Fall in love with its turquoise blue waters and its extensive white sand beaches. But the adventure is under its waters, we take you to discover the beauty of its marine life.

Our tour includes two dives to the south of the island where you can immerse yourself in the Cozumel National Reef Park, its reefs are part of the Mesoamerican Reef, the second largest barrier reef of the world. You can also explore the famous Palancar Caves and Garden with its impressive tunnels and coral gardens, you can drift along its reef walls and see beautiful sponges, tropical fish, lobsters, turtles, blue angels and an endless number of species that will surprise you.

To be able to join this great experience you need to be a certified Open Water Diver level diver or its equivalent. The appointment is at our diving center in Akumal to head towards Playa del Carmen where we will board a motor boat that will take us to the paradisiacal island of Cozumel.
